Jan Armgardt

Was born in 1947 in Celle (Germany) and studied interior architecture. After opening his own design studio in 1974, Armgardt started to work with well-known European companies in the furniture field while experimenting with projects in the field of environment-friendly furniture. Since 1992 he has worked as a professor at the Fachhochschule Aachen, where he still teaches today. Among the awards received he won the Good Design Award in Chicago and the Goed industieel ontwerp in Rotterdam.
